The pint-sized tunes will be rocking in Towson this June! Overwhelmed by the success of their Saturday Morning Tunes kids’ concert series, WTMD is kicking things up a notch and hosting their first Saturday Morning Tunes Family Mini Festival!
Their opening their doors and rocking both the studio and WTMD plaza on Saturday, June 17th. MiniFest goers will be treated the musical stylings of sing/storyteller Barry Louis Polisar and hear the debut of WTMD’s new fam-friendly house band, The Cartunes.
In addition to live music, kids can make art with The Walters Art Museum and ride trikes around the plaza with Race Pace Bicycles. Garrison Forest School has coffee for the parents (because they know what every parent needs on Saturday morning). Snacks are included with every ticket purchase. There will be live music on the indoor main stage and also on the plaza outside.!
Doors open at 9 a.m. and the show runs from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at WTMD, 1 Olympic Place in Towson. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for kids and $40 for a family four-pack. Children under 2 are free.
This will the last Saturday Morning Tunes session until fall, so don’t miss it! All of the previous concerts have sold out in advance, so we highly recommend you nab your tix quick!
