Explore Creativity at Everyman Theatre
Everyman Theatre launches their spring classes for littles on January 19th! Kids ages 1-3 can explore drama, storytelling and more with a caretaker during their 45-minute You and Me: Dramatic Discoveries – Wonderland class. Each week features a new concept that inspires the ensemble’s journey through music, movement, dance, drama, and design. Older tots (ages 3-5) can hone their theatrical skills in Everyman’s My Pals and I: Imagination Station – Magical Kingdoms class. The hour class happens the same time as the younger class — so if you have multiple kiddos under 5, just call that ‘winning!’ Side note: older kids will love their Saturday morning classes. Kids in grades K-2 will be exploring superhero adventures while 3rd-5th graders will be taking on ‘mysteries.’  MORE

New Parent/Toddler Yoga Classes in Hampden
Bring your 2-5 year old and join Erin Leach of Mama Bear Yoga for a new Parent/Toddler yoga series in Hampden! Little bears are beginning to develop a very important skill between the ages of 2 and 5 –imagination! Classes combine yoga poses, songs, games, and creative movement, all centered around a theme to inspire creativity, as well as promote physical and social-emotional development. Anna’s Musikgarten
You’re never too young (or old!) for music play! At just $190 for 15 weeks (that’s just over $12/class), this caregiver-and-me class is bargain. But what’s even better? There’s a drop-in rate of $20/class. So if you’re not ready to commit, you can just pay-as-you go all winter. Try out the class for free during their Winter Open House week! New and returning families are invited to get a taste of the songs and dances being taught this session. Open House classes will run Tuesday 1/10 and Thursday 1/12. Babies classes are Tuesday at 11 am and 6 pm, and toddlers classes are Thursday at 10:15 am and 6 pm. Have older kiddos? Parent and Child Chorus with Silly Goose and Val
Ready to have some Sunday family fun? Join award-winning composer, musician, and performer Val Smalkin’s Parent/Child (or Grandparent/Child!) Chorus at Stages Music and Arts in Cockeysville, MD on Sundays, 5-6 PM in March. Sing, learn vocal technique — and (the best part!) —  sing back-up on Val’s new album, all about trains. MORE

Mommy and Baby Ballet at Coppermine
New at Coppermine — exercise while you bond with your baby. All you need is a proper baby carrier. It’s a calm, nurturing environment and you can certainly take care of your baby’s needs as needed. Wednesdays at 10 AM.  MORE

Art Babies, Art Tots, and Art Kids at The Walters
Art Babies invites parents, grandparents, and caregivers and their babies to bond, play and learn in the museum. Each program includes a gallery tour designed especially for Art Babies, art material exploration and play. Cooing and crying are welcome.  Art Tots invites parents, grandparents, and caregivers and their 2-3 year olds to learn in the museum. Classes include age-appropriate stories, gallery play activities, and an art project. Art Kids is for ages 3-5 — and is the preschool version of the program. MORE

Canta y Baila Conmigo
Canta y Baila Conmigo is a music class for children up to 5 years old accompanied by an adult. A fun and motivating Spanish immersion experience! This class is designed to foster both the development of Spanish language and the cultural dexterity of children through children’s songs and traditional music from Spain and Latin America. This class is offered entirely in Spanish to create a total immersion experience. However, the class is not limited to people with complete fluency in Spanish. Beginners and intermediate students of the language who want to learn together with their children can enjoy a fun, safe and welcoming environment where they get involved in the language and musical traditions of the Hispanic world. Offered on Fridays at 9:45 AM beginning on January 13th at Abbott Center for the Arts. MORE
