Where can you enjoy kid-friendly entertainment and a delicious dinner your whole family will love? At St. James Academy’s Children’s Dinner Theatre series! It’s the Friday family date night you definitely don’t want to miss. The season kicks off on October 7th with a laugh-out-loud evening of illusion and balloons.
Tom Lilly and Beowulf T. Wonderbunny will present their Traveling Show of Mystery! family audience comedy-magic show (say that three times fast!). The curtain goes up on the magic and mayhem at 6:15 for the whacky balloon creations, off-beat magic, and Beowulf T. Wonderbunny himself. There just might be a special appearance by Chico The Amazing Mind-Reading Monkey!
The one in the Hawaiian shirt and saddle shoes will be Maryland’s own Tom Lilly, a performer who mixes balloons, comedy, magic, and mishaps to produce a show that leaves all ages laughing and wondering.
St. James Academy’s Children’s Dinner Theatre series aims to provide quality local entertainment for children and parents. A casual dinner is served in Macdonald Hall at 5:30 PM followed by the evening’s performance at 6:15 PM in the Susan Tucker Moore Theatre. Dinner is $6 per person and the show is $6 per guest. Children under 2 are free — and there is a $48 max cost per family.
