It’s Mother’s Day this weekend… but before you start thinking about something perfect for your mom (yes, we know she deserves it!), why not also plan a little time for you? Here’s how some of our favorite Baltimore places are treating moms this weekend! Take advantage. You deserve it, too!

{PS… we’ll keep adding to this list so check back!}

Get Inspired by Alexis at Lululemon
(cool) progeny is thrilled to partner with Vision + Goals Coach Alexis Brandolini and Lululemon in Harbor East for a little mother’s day weekend kick-off: a Vision and Goals session just for moms! (And mimosas, of course!) Just $8 per person and proceeds benefit Little Lion Challenge. It’s the perfect way to celebrate YOU. Space is limited so nab your space in advance and join Alexis at 9 AM on Saturday.

Embark on a BARREcrawl
To celebrate mother’s day, local Barre instructor Anne Truax is kicking off a summer-long barre crawl on Saturday. What’s a barre crawl? Exactly what you think it is. Anne will be teaching donation-based barre classes all over Baltimore to benefit Free to Breathe, a non-profit organization dedicated to doubling lung cancer survival by 2022. This first stop is especially significant, as she’ll be leading a class at Independent Brewing Company in Bel Air in honor of my own mom, whom we lost to stage 4 lung cancer in 2012. Class will be held from 10AM – 10:50AM, after which attendees will be able to sample local beers and mingle in the brewery.
