8. Head to The Walters Art Museum this Saturday for their FREE Islamic Arts family festival. The museum-wide extravaganza, inspired by the exhibition Pearls on a String: Artists, Patrons, and Poets at the Great Islamic Courts, will feature dancers, storytellers, musicians, and artists.

9. Baltimore’s own Under Armour is launching their first smart shoe this February (along with other Fitness tech gear). According to Baltimore Business Journal, the UA SpeedForm Gemini 2 Record Equipped is the company’s first smart shoe, which tracks and stores data including time and date, duration, distance and splits using a chip. The shoe allows athletes to run device-free. The shoe will be available Feb. 29 and retails for $150.
