With St. Patrick’s day round the corner, here’s a great craft that will be fun for the kids: make a Mini Leprechaun’s Hat out of a recycled coffee creamer cup! Set the hat out for the Leprechaun on the night before St. Patty’s day for your adorable Leprechaun! This project is also great for kids to bring to school on the days they inspect their Leprechaun Traps in the classroom.

To get started you will need a few simple supplies:
- green felt
- white felt
- gray felt
- cereal box cardboard
- mini coffee creamer cup, emptied and cleaned
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- small round lid such as a spice jar lid (to trace for the brim of the hat)
Glue it on to cover the bottom of the creamer cup, which will actually be the top of the hat.
Trace the spice lid top onto some thin cardboard and cut that round shape out. Next trace the round cardboard shape onto felt. Cut it out and cover the round cardboard. Set the tiny hat top on top of this which is the brim of the hat and glue it on.
