Brrr…. it’s cold out there! In honor of Groundhog Day and the snowiest month of the year, this week’s drop everything and doodle project word is WINTER. Ask your kiddo to draw things that remind them of winter or a winter scene. {They may be inspired to let it go… and our apologies if that involves putting on the-song-not-to-be-named one more time… notice we purposefully did not use the word frozen.}

Week Two Drop Everything and Doodle: WINTER

Our featured doodle this week is courtesy of children’s book author/illustrator Melissa Guion. Check out her website to see more of her work and stay tuned for a super (cool) interview with her later this week!

Want to join the #dropanddoodle project? It’s easy! Just have your child create a doodle inspired by the doodle word of the week. Then post to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #dropanddoodle. We may just even feature their work on (cool) progeny! Here’s more info.
