It’s been a pretty cold around here the past few days (and I hear more is on the way. Hello, January!)… but these are five moments that quite literally warmed my heart this week. Enjoy.
With a warm cup of coffee, of course.
We visited the Baltimore Museum of Industry last weekend to check out their new video game exhibit (more on that soon!), but first had to make a stop in the print shop. 85-year-old Ray Loomis (who has been printing for over 60 years) showed us the machine and worked with the Bug to make a bookmark. Here’s her name in typset…
The Bug and I took a long overdue mommy-daughter date to see Charm City Players’ The Wizard of Oz. The Bug dressed up in her “Judy Garland” dress and – – how could you not? — sported ruby slippers. Also known as sparkly flats from Old Navy.
Cold Mornings, Warm Muffins
It was tough getting back into the routine of things on Monday morning… luckily these banana zucchini mini-muffins with chocolate chips hit the spot! Seriously amazing. Here’s the recipe!
First snowfall of the season. Got a chance to break out the new snow pants! And, according to the Bug, great for snow angels but not nearly enough snow for sledding.
A Little Treat…
Stopped by Flavor Cupcakery and they had just finished making these super cute snowman cake pops. Had to get two for the kids… So stinkin’ cute!
Thanks for taking a look! Of course, you can always tag along for the beautiful chaos of my everyday life + snapshots of (cool) progeny in action on the (cool) progeny Instagram feed. I’d love to see your five moments, too! Just hashtag them #cpfivemoments.
