Yoga Storytelling at Everyman Theatre
Ready, Set, Let’s flow into some stories! Story Warriors learn to combine yoga poses, breath, and relaxation with the art of storytelling as they recount and rework beloved childrens’ tales while learning to embody and release the emotions of their characters! Each session will leave participants with new ways of getting into a story and working as characters as well as their own emotions. The Walters is celebrating love this month, so grab a loved one’s hand and join them to explore a theme that artists have used as inspiration throughout history! Disney’s Mulan, Jr. at Pumpkin Theatre
It’s Pumpkin Theatre’s KIDS for Kids production! Defying the village matchmaker, Mulan takes up arms and disguises as a boy in order to spare her father from having to serve in the army. The Huns have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan and her mischievous sidekick Mushu to save the Emperor in this mad cap musical.
