Irvine Nature Center is asking for your help! This summer, they will welcome more than 100 kids from their partner urban outreach programs to their campsite. Most of these kids have never left their neighborhood, let alone been to “the great outdoors” for an amazing overnight adventure.

… But none of the kids will be arriving with a sleeping bag.

The center is hoping to change that and make their first camping experience the best it can be — and launching a sleeping bag drive.

{This is where you come in.}

Have a sleeping bag that these campers could use? Donate it to Irvine and these kids, as well as future first time campers, will be able to use it for years to come!

An easy way to help make a little roar!

They need the sleeping bags by Thursday, July 10th. Any clear, gently used (or new!) sleeping bag will work. Just drop it off at their reception desk (9 am – 5 pm, every day except July 4th!).
