Towson Feet on the Street
Looking for a fun start to your weekend? Come on out to “Feet on the Street” and join the party! “Feet on the Street” is hosted by the Towson Chamber of Commerce and features a band every Friday night from the middle of May to the end of September. Bring your friends and family for moon bounces, face painting, beer and wine (21+), and live music. All ages welcome! Block Parties are held on Allegheny Avenue in Towson.

Big Truck Day
In partnership with the City of Baltimore Department of Public Works, kids of all ages will be able to inspect and enjoy work trucks, emergency vehicles, and more! Held rain or shine in the BMI parking lot. 10 AM – 2 PM.
Salute to Summer Fest
Kickoff summer with live music by Crushing Day, food trucks, premium drinks and the Coppermine Kids Zone with obstacle courses, sports drills, pony rides, face painting, a moon bounce and more! At Bonvega Field. 10 AM -2 PM.
Asian Pacific Heritage Festival
Join Port Discovery for a celebration of the traditions and culture of Asian Pacific heritage with performances and more! Kawasaki Sister City Committee: 10 am – 2 pm; Circle Time: 11 am; Life on Yoga Mountain: 12 pm; Misako Ballet : 1:30 pm; and Art a la Cart: 1 pm – 3 pm.
Steppingstone Farm Museum Civil War Re-enactment
The Civil War Encampment returns to Steppingstone this year to commemorate the sesquicentennial. Come out to the museum for this relaxed living history event to explore civil war camp life and the historic trades shared at Steppingstone. Re-enactors will display camp life in the civil war era and re-enact battle skirmishes. 11 AM – 4 PM.

Rathyatra Chariot Parade and Festival of India
The festive and colorful Indian Chariot Parade begins at noon near the Maryland Science Center, with the Festival of India, featuring a free vegetarian feast, live music and dancing, cultural exhibits, family events and more, taking place afterward (from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.) at McKeldin Square.
The Never Say Die, Utterly Unique and Always Free – Arts and Music Festival surrounding Baltimore’s historic Hollins Market is ready to party this Memorial Weekend Sunday. Enjoy a festival full of passion for music in the streets, art in the streets, children’s activities and more! Kids programming includes Tattered Hatters, I’d Rather Be Sail Painting, Abu Flute Making, and Black Cherry Puppet Theater. Free Family Sundays: The Great Outdoors
The BMA is the place to be for free family fun! Every Sunday at 2 p.m., enjoy different activities—sketching tours, hands-on workshops, gallery tours, and more—designed just for families. This Sunday, enjoy an object lesson from 2 PM – 2:45 PM on The Cone Sisters’ Flowers.

Good Life Festival
Over Memorial Day weekend,kick off Boordy’s farmer’s market season with a Feast-ival of Foods & Farmers! To the tunes of High Strung Bluegrass Band and Free Range Blue, local producers will sell the ingredients for a fantastic picnic as well as food to take home. Enjoy six winetasting samples, the newly released spring wines, and a wagon tour through the vineyards. The Baltimore Shakespeare Company will give a one hour performance and then give an acting workshop for all ages. Saturday and Sunday, 12 PM – 5 PM.
Fairies and Elves
Learn all about these mysterious inhabitants of the forest and search for their presence at Oregon Ridge Park. Enjoy crafting houses for them and make a craft to take home. Ages 3+ This event takes place at the Oregon Ridge Nature Center. Reservations are required; please call the center at 410-887-1815 to register.Saturday and Sunday, 2 PM – 4 PM.
Brew at the Zoo
The Maryland Zoo’s largest fundraiser of the year pairs food and beverage with music and fun. Tickets include unlimited beer samples, a commemorative glass, music, and much more. Saturday and Sunday, 1 PM – 7 PM.
Celebrate these beautiful “flying flowers” at Robert E. Lee Park with face painting, insect hunts, crafts, and more. You can even meet our state insect the Baltimore Checkerspot Butterfly and learn about our efforts to reintroduce it. Ages 5 and up. Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM – 4 PM.
Drop-In Art Activities: Posable Puppets
All the Walters is a stage! What is your character’s story? Tell your tale through set design, props, and even masks! Move, dance and give voice to all of the art that you make with us in May. Every Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM – 3 PM. This weekend, make Posable Puppets.
