How to Make DIY Flower Window Clings

Materials

  • White Glue
  • Food Coloring
  • Squeeze Bottles (one per color)
  • 3D Paint/Puffy Paint
  • Freezer Paper
  • Flower Outline
  • Tape
  • Small Paintbrush

Directions

Step One: Fill each squeeze bottle about 1/4 of the way high with white glue. Add food coloring to create desired colors.

Step Two: Mix! {This is one of the best parts for a preschooler…}. While they are mixing, tape your flower design outline to a plastic tray or art-friendly surface. Tape your Freezer paper (shiny side up) over the outline.

Step Three: Outline your shape with the 3D/Puffy paint.

Step Four: Using the squeeze bottles, fill in the spaces between the outline. You may need to use the paintbrush to smooth. Make sure the whole space is covered and the color touches the outline all the way around the shape. Let dry 24 hours.

Step Five: Peel off of the freezer paper and cling to window. Ready for spring!
