Vintage Cars, Blues and Gourmet Food
The Rodders Revival is back at Pimlico this weekend! Have a pint-sized car lover? He or she will love this low-key event that features over 700 hot rods and custom cars. {Including the one featured that looks like it’s straight out of Disney’s movie!} The festival runs Saturday and Sunday, but you can catch a preview of 200 cars in Fells Point Square on Friday night! Baltimore Book Festival
Friday through Sunday in Mt. Vernon! The Baltimore Book Festival features hundreds of author appearances and book signings, 100+ exhibitors and booksellers, non-stop readings on multiple stages, cooking demos by celebrity chefs, poetry readings and workshops, panel discussions, walking tours, storytellers and hands-on projects for kids, street theater, live music, and a delicious variety of food, beer and wine.The Baltimore Book Festival offers tons of fun activities for children and their families. Smithsonian Magazine’s 9th Annual Museum Day Live!
For one day only, participating museums across the USA will emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based facilities (who offer free admission everyday) and open their doors for free to those who download a Museum Day Live! Sesame Street Live – Make a New Friend at the Lyric
No matter where you’re from or where you’ve been, everyone is special – so join in! Tiny Tot Adventures: Flying Things at Patterson Park
Explore the wonders of nature with Audubon! Tiny Tot programs take place one Saturday a month, and consist of interactive programs designed to connect children, ages 2-5 years, with nature. During each session, they discuss a seasonally themed topic, take a hike, read a story, and make a craft. These programs are one hour and are led in Patterson Park at the northeast corner of the Boat Lake. For one day only — SATURDAY — the B&O Railroad Museum presents two performances by Disney Jr.’s Choo Choo Soul. Follow the musical adventures of the hip-hop singer, train station manager, Genevieve Goings, and her dancing, beatboxing engineer DC as they entertain kids while performing soulful and current renditions of the ABC’s and 1-2-3’s. Hooray for Play! at Port Discovery
