Kids Art Exhibit Opening at Abrakadoodle

Family Fair and Walk
The Brent A. Rosenberg Family Fair and Walk is a FREE morning of activities that show support for Strong Families and a Strong Community. Each step families take walking and playing together makes them stronger and more resilient. The Fair will include resource information and giveaways for parents and children. Drop-in Art Activities: Books! Libros! Livre!
Don’t judge a book by its cover… design the cover instead! In September, join The Walters Art Museum to celebrate National Literacy Month and the start of Hispanic Heritage Month. Open up a story and discover the many languages and cultures throughout the museum. Read, write, paint and sculpt in our studio with other authors and artists. Flip through their collection to find inspiration in curly calligraphy and beautiful bindings. This weekend make Ceramic Calligraphy. Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 3 PM. MORE INFO

ABC’s of Family Biking
On September 21, Baltimore Family Bike Party partnering with Bikemore, Bike Maryland and the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance to organize the first ABCs of Baltimore Family Biking: celebrating the joy of biking with children and introducing local families to the tools, skills and equipment that can help them start biking together. Music Box Concert: Teeny Tiny Critters
The Music Box Series is a new concert series for the very young, aimed at babies and toddlers six months to three years, and their families. Concerts will be highly interactive and engaging, creating a musical and movement experience and encouraging musical, motor and language development. Each concert will be 30 minutes long featuring Maria Broom, presenter, and a small ensemble of BSO musicians. TWO concerts on Saturday, at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. MORE INFO

SARC’s 4th Annual Hot Air Balloon Family Fun Day
The day features a mix of activities including live entertainment stages, hot air balloons, horse rides for kids on Clydesdales (additional fee), a scavenger hunt, moon bounces, face painting, games, goat feeding (additional fee) and more. Urban Farm and Food Fair
Join the Farm Alliance of Baltimore City for this year’s Urban Farm & Food Fair on Saturday from 2 PM – 5 PM! Features great farms, local food vendors, and family-friendly fun. Highlandtown’s 3rd annual All Ages Art CartDerby & Art by The Pint is an all ages gravity-powered art cart race and bilingual community arts street festival!What’s an art cart? An art cart is a homemade cart powered by gravity (no motors or pedals) and designed as a sculpture. Art carts are made using wood, wheels, wire, papier mache, cardboard and your imagination!
