Fishing Derby at Robert E. Lee Park

Colonial Market Fair
Step back into the past at the fourth annual Colonial Market Fair at the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum. Experience the sights and sounds of eighteenth century life as you visit with re-enactors, sutlers, tradesmen, craftsmen, and musicians. Stop by Banneker’s cabin and learn the story of this amazing African American writer, astronomer, mathematician, and surveyor of our nation’s capital. World Ocean’s Day Celebration
In celebration of our amazing blue planet, National Aquarium, Baltimore will be celebrating World Oceans Day all weekend. The public can experience aquatic stilt performances, workshops, and more on Waterfront Plaza. Aquarium guests can enjoy ocean-themed games, crafts, and performances throughout the Aquarium. The Creative Alliance kicks off a neighborhood-wide recycling contest with a block party on Library Square featuring the Natural Science Song & Dance Man, Billy B on Saturday! The household who recycles the most thru the first week of August wins a gift certificate! The greenest block earns a block party ice cream social to be held on national Night Out, Aug 6. Carnival ScienceCircus Science rules the day with lots of hands on exploration of what it takes to control the chaos of a three-ring extravaganza this weekend at the Maryland Science Center. Learn how to ride a tiny clown bike, juggle, and even walk across a wire. Traditional carnival activities will be set up throughout the cience Center where you can play games, win prizes and create crafts to take home while learning how science applies to each activity. The 109th St. Anthony Festival

St. Nicholas Greek Folk Festival

HonFest
HonFest is a local tradition. The Bawlmer term of endearment, Hon, short for Honey, embodies the warmth and affection bestowed upon our neighbors and visitors alike by historic working-women of Baltimore. HonFest is an annual celebration in honor of these women. Enjoy a weekend of fun, sun and tons of hons! HonFest takes place Saturday from 11am to 10pm and Sunday, noon to 6pm.
