When you think about it, kids really play in miniature-mode most of the time. Think: tiny cars, dolls, legos, tiny doll houses and the list continues. Making a pretend city or street for your child can be literally as easy as drawing on poster paper. Immediately, you create a world that they can bring to life.

If you’d like to make a poster paper city you’ll just need a few things (and you probably have them lying around the house!).

Lastly, draw details in each of the sections of your street intersection or cross. We drew a pond, some squares to represent houses, a park and a large square as a parking

Now have fun with your city! Your little one can doodle on the poster paper too or older children can obviously draw this all on their own!
