Baltimore families have a ton of opportunities to getting the bunny hop on this weekend. Train rides, breakfasts, egg hunts, PEEP shows and MORE — there’s something for everyone! Not into the big-eared guy? Check out Irvine Nature Center’s Treasure Hunt, fairy photos with Carrie Murray Nature Center or the Jewish Museum of Maryland’s Super Sunday Family Fun Day where you can make your own comic book. Bunny BonanZOO
The Easter Bunny has left some eggs behind at the Maryland Zoo! Join the Zoo family as they celebrate the holiday with this annual festival, complete with games, crafts, live entertainment, food and free egg hunts. Children who find 5 different eggs will receive yummy Mary Sue treats. This year Bunny BonanZOO also includes children’s entertainers Silly Goose and Val Smalkin’s Musical Zoo and Robstar:The Magic Rockstar, as well as a variety of food vendors onsite. 10 AM – 2 PM, Friday – Sunday. Ride the Rails with the Easter Bunny
Hop on board the Mile One Express and take a round trip train ride with the B&O Railroad Museum’s Easter Bunny for a special treat. Scheduled train rides for March 29 & 30 are at 11am, 1pm, & 3pm. Children may have their photos taken with the B&O Bunny at Dr. Coupler’s Railroad Photorium. MORE INFORMATION

6th Annual PEEP Show
Head to the 6th Annual PEEPshow and see hundreds of wacky marshmallow masterpieces created by local artists, families, business, and community groups. The Carroll County Arts Center will be open everyday March 28 to April 7 from 10am to 7pm (including Easter Sunday). Fun Peeps themed souvenirs and refreshments will be on sale throughout the PEEPshow. You may even be able to purchase your favorite creation to take home with you after the show! MORE INFORMATION

Breakfast with the Bunny
Hop! Hop! Hop! on over for Breakfast with Bunny at the Maryland Zoo! On Saturday March 30, 2013 come start your day early at the Zoo and come have Breakfast with Bunny from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on the Zoo’s historic Mansion House Porch. Enjoy a delicious family breakfast, get your photo with the Easter Bunny, visit with some of our Animal Ambassadors, stop by the arts and crafts stations, and spend the rest of you day touring the Zoo.(Ticket includes same-day admission). Breakfast with the Bunny and the Great Egg Hunt

EGGSTRAVAGANZA at the Y
The Y of Central Maryland is celebrating all things Spring with Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 30, at eight participating Family Center Y locations. Participants will enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt, games, crafts and much more! Space is limited, so please register in advance. This event is FREE for Y members. Fairy Fotos and Feathered Friends
Spend the day with our birds of prey! Dress up as a fairy and flitter around with our feathered friends! Get your picture taken with other fairies! Kelly Frazier will be on hand to provide these magical photos. Nature and fairy crafts will be available for all to make. No pets please. Please pre-register. Saturday from 11 AM – 2 PM. Cromwell Valley Park Egg Hunt
Fun for the entire family! In addition to Easter egg hunts, this event includes an appearance by the Easter Bunny, family activities, a 4-H rabbit club presentation and more. Egg hunt times: 10:30 a.m. (Ages 3-4); 10:45 a.m. (Ages 5-6); 11:00 a.m. (Ages 7-8); and 11:15 a.m. (Ages 9-10). FREE! MORE INFORMATION

Easter Eggstravaganza at the Baltimore Humane Society
This isn’t your typical Easter Egg Hunt event — it’s for both kids and pets and includes some very unusual amusements! First, the Easter Bunny will be posing with children, dogs, cats, and any other family pets you might like to bring along. After the kids finish hunting for eggs on our lawn, they can further test their detective skills when they play two variations of the I Spy Cat Detective Game. There will be luscious baked goods for humans, and Tiki’s Playhouse Ice-Cream Truck for Dogs will be standing by with treats for our canine guests. And everyone will enjoy the special performance at 2 p.m. by the Charm City Dance Theatre who will shimmy and bop to The Bunny Hop! Saturday, 12 PM – 3 PM. MORE INFORMATION

Hawk’s Hill Creamery Easter Egg Hunt
The egg hunts will begin at 1pm on Saturday. The egg hunt age groups include 0-3 years, 4-7 years, and 8-12 years. Please bring your own basket! Included in the price of admission is the egg hunt with prizes, petting zoo, games, face painting, craft table and a visit with the Easter bunny! You can also do some last minute Easter shopping. Worldwide Treasure Hunt
Did you know there are over 1,000,000 treasure boxes hidden all over the world and YOU can find them? Come hike our trails with a naturalist who will show you how to be a geocacher and introduce you to a fun, outdoor activity for the whole family! Super Sunday Family Fun Day
Super Sunday Family Day at the Jewish Museum of Maryland! At 11 AM, participate in a create your own comic book workshop.Illustrator Lisa Perrin leads participants through the process of writing and illustrating their own comic book and superhero.(Please RSVP – space is limited). At 2 PM, children’s book author Marc Tyler Nobleman, author of Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman and Bill the Boy Wonder: The Secret Co-Creator of Batman will reveal the startling bombshells he uncovered during his research, including one that may change pop culture history. The talk will address everything from the Superman/Moses parallel to the Hebrew meaning of Superman’s Kryptonian name. MORE INFORMATION
