Children's Dinner Theatre - Tracey Eldridge

Looking for a fun night of fam-friendly entertainment next Friday night? St. James Academy has you covered.

Partnering with Silly Goose and Val, their Children’s Dinner Theatre series aims to provide quality local entertainment for children and parents {that ahem, entertains BOTH children and parents!} while raising money for The Ark, a daycare center for homeless children operated by the Episcopal Community Services of Maryland.

The last show of the 2012-2013 season is April 5, 2013. You and the kiddos can enjoy dinner together while listening the musical stylings of acclaimed Baltimore children’s musician Tracey Eldridge. Parenting Magazine called Eldridge’s album, Never Mind the Rain one of their “best Music for your Toddler” choices, calling it “Cheery toddler fun…(with) cool sound effects…”

Val, Silly Goose and Jack

The whole event is hosted by the hilarious Val Smalkin and Silly Goose.

What’s on the menu for April 5th? Spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, salad, iced tea/lemonade and ice cream sandwiches.

Dinner begins at 5:30 and the show is over by 7:30 — so the kiddos are fed, home, and in bed by 8:30. That gives you the rest of your Friday evening to relax.

Children's Music NetworkOr, if you fancy yourself a children’s music aficionado, you can stay post-show for the Children’s Music Network Song Swap. After Tracey’s show, she will hang around for 90 minutes and everyone will be given an opportunity to share material with the group. Bring some new or old favorite songs and activities – and come away with fresh tunes, dances, finger-plays and strategies for future fun.

Dinner is $6/person (children under 2 are FREE!). The show is $6/person (babes in arms are free). Purchase tickets here.
