Hampden Hi-Fi at Roosevelt Park
Hampden Hi-Fi is a free concert series held every Friday evening, 6pm to 9pm, from June 8th through July 27th at Roosevelt Park (the corner of Falls Road and 36th Street–also known as “The Avenue”–in Hampden). The series features local musicians of various music genres, local food from area restaurants, a beer garden, and a snowball stand for the kids. Proceeds benefit local organizations within the community. MORE INFO

Waterfront Kids at West Shore Park

Getting Started with Geocaching at Irvine Nature Center
Saturday at 1:00 PM! Did you know there are more than a million treasure boxes hidden all over the world and YOU can find them? Come hike Irvine’s trails with a naturalist who will show you how to be a “geocacher” and introduce you to a fun, outdoor activity for the whole family! Wear hiking shoes and bring water and a GPS unit if you have one. Ages 5 & up (with adult). MORE INFO

Preschool Story Time at Maryland Science Center
Storytime includes stories, music, science activities, and lots of hands-on fun!  Free with Paid Admission on Saturday at 1:30 PM. MORE INFO

Sol Food Community Festival
The Sol Food bus is here! All the way from North Carolina, the Sol Food urban farmers are touring the country teaching about sustainability and healthy eating. Catch them while they visit Baltimore and learn all about sprouting, gardening, canning and more. Activities will take place at the Jewish Museum of Maryland and at our neighboring organization, the McKim Center – 1120 East Baltimore Street – where we are helping to start an eco friendly nature play space and orchard.  Sunday at noon.
