FREE concert: lunch money LIVE at west shore park

We {love} great kids’ music. And Lunch Money, the South Carolina kindie band, just happens to be one of our favorites. So we are beyond thrilled to partner with Waterfront Partnership to bring this band LIVE to West Shore Park on July 15th for a FREE family concert. The event starts at 4:30 PM and the band starts performing at 5.

Nick, Jr. Magazine boasts that “Lunch Money artfully treads the line between alt-kids and just plain alternative – with lots of parents on the fan wagon as well.” NPR? They couldn’t stop raving either: “Even more than the melodies, the way the lyrics elegantly negotiate the divide between children and adults set [Lunch Money's] Dizzy apart.” If you’re not familiar with the band already, they are a ‘must add’ to your family friendly playlist. Bring your own blanket and picnic — or purchase food hot off the grill from Waterfront Partnership’s grill station. Beer, wine and juice will be available for purchase, too.  Of course, the kid’s playground toys will be out and the Walter Sondheim Fountain will be on as well. Perfect family-friendly summer Sunday evening.
