New to Baltimore? Starting your family? Looking to network with other area parents? There are lots of opportunities to do all of this and more in July. Check out these new parent (or curious about city parenting) events from some of our fav area organizations.
Oh, and — shameless plug — I just may be speaking at one… So, I’d definitely love to see you in person, too!
Hear from the Downtown Baltimore Family Alliance about all the reasons why families are choosing to stay on the City. DBFA Executive Director Heidi Vorrasi will talk about school options and (cool) progeny editor Heather Walsh will share family friendly events and places to go. FREE!

What’s it really like to raise a family in the city? If you are expecting or you are the parents of an infant younger than six months old, come meet the families of your child’s future playmates and share in the collective child-rearing wisdom of downtown parents at DBFA’s New and Expecting Parent Social.
There will be free appetizers and beverages, and we’ll have a few seasoned parents on hand to answer your questions about strollers, schools, sleep training, day care, playgroups, and more. Moms, dads, babies, and parents-to-be are all welcome. FREE for DBFA members; $5 per family for non-members.
