FREE Pirate Story Times Kick-Off Aboard Fearless
Perfect for younger pirates! Urban Pirates’ weekly adventure story times include songs, games, stories and more, all aboard the pirate ship Fearless. Discover your young one’s inner pirate by taking part in this outdoor activity in Historic Fells Point. Each week will bring new games, stories and activities, so join all summer long! Firefighter Games at The Fire Museum of Maryland
A new fire rescue game teaches Children how fire fighters help people during a fire. Children take turns saving each other from a ‘burning building’ as part of a new Fire Rescue Game, Fridays at 11 am, in the Fire Museum of Maryland. They perform the rescues in fire gear and with a play breathing apparatus to understand how fire fighters save people in an emergency. MORE INFO

THE MUPPETS at Kennilworth
Head to the Shops at Kennilworth on Friday night for a FREE outdoor screening of The Muppets. BYOB (bring your own blanket!). The movie starts at 8:45, but you can catch a live flamenco dance performance beginning at 8:00 PM. Cancelled if it rains. MORE INFO

Pet Parade & SUPER Pet Event
Wilkins Automotive in Glen Burnie is giving back in a SUPER way in June: their annual Super Pet Event and Adopt-a-Thon. And they’re hoping that you’ll bring your favorite animal friend to show off their super skills or consider being a hero to s pet who needs a new family. Join them on June 9th from 10 AM – 2 PM for a whole day of pet-tastic fun! Moon bounces, FREE lunch, face painting, door prizes, Critter Caravan Animal Show, Superhero Pet trick Contest, and Pet Parade are sure to make this a kid-pleaser event, too. MORE INFO

Celebrate World Oceans Day!
There’s no better place to celebrate World Oceans Day than at the National Aquarium! On Saturday and Sunday, join the Aquarium from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. for lots of fun ocean-themed activities. Engage with our animals and staff of experts, complete our World Oceans Day scavenger hunt for a prize, and learn what you can do to keep our oceans healthy and full of amazing aquatic life! Plus, bring in plastic grocery bags to exchange for a reusable shopping tote. On Sunday, Debbie Dadey, author of the Mermaid Tales book series, will be onsite. Carnival Science at The Maryland Science Center
Circus Science rules the day with lots of hands on exploration of what it takes to control the chaos of a three-ring extravaganza.  Learn how to ride a tiny clown bike, juggle, and even walk across a wire.  Traditional carnival activities will be set up throughout the Maryland Science Center where you can play games, win prizes and create crafts to take home while learning how science applies to each activity. Be sure to catch Science Circus performed by Rhys Thomas where circus and science combine.  His comedic performance involves bowling ball juggling, Chinese yo-yo spinning, six foot unicycle riding, glass bowl spinning and many more of your favorite circus stunts.  Participate in this show both Saturday and Sunday at 1:00pm and 3:00pm both days and learn the science behind each trick. HONFEST
Get out your teasing comb and Aqua Net, hon! Baltimore’s annual celebration of all things “Bawlmer” takes place along 36th Street in Hampden and pays tribute to the neighborhoods, distinctive dialect and people of Baltimore. Enjoy live music, classic Bawlmer foods and Hampden’s eclectic merchants, and indulge your bouffant cravings and inner hon at the Glamour Lounge. You’ve never seen an event quite like HonFest, and it can only be found in Baltimore. Saturday and Sunday. MORE INFO

Drop In Art: Summer in Japan
Join The Walters Art Museum in June as we create artwork inspired by a summer day in Japan. Tour Dem Parks, Hon!
The annual bike ride that takes locals and visitors through Baltimore’s parks and neighborhoods for a close-up view of regional parks like Carroll, Patterson, Clifton and Druid Hill, as well as some quietly tucked away gems. Proceeds support Baltimore’s parks, environment, friends and cycling groups. There are 4 rides to choose from. The “Family” ride takes you through the Gwynns Falls Trail. 95% Trails this ride is perfect for families with children of all ages. The ride is fully supported with rest stops and a Barbeque.
