calling all superheros: wilkins automotive to host super pet event!

Wilkins Automotive in Glen Burnie is giving back in a SUPER way in June: their annual Super Pet Event and Adopt-a-Thon. And they’re hoping that you’ll bring your favorite animal friend to show off their super skills or consider being a hero to s pet who needs a new family.

Join them on June 9th from 10 AM – 2 PM for a whole day of pet-tastic fun!

“I am a big believer in adopting pets,” said Jeremy Wilkins, owner of Wilkins Automotive. There are so many tragic events in the world that happen where pets are left abandoned, and our event helps a few pets find homes. By bringing different groups together in an open forum, people have more choices and the community likes to get involved.”

Moon bounces, FREE lunch, face painting, door prizes, Critter Caravan Animal Show, Superhero Pet trick Contest are sure to make this a kid-pleaser event, too.

If you bring your dog or cat, you can stop by the Chocolate Chip Dalmatian Assistance League booth and have them microchipped for just $25, including registration. This is a huge service and sanity saver should your best canine friend wander away from your home. You can also show Fido a little love with gourmet treats and pet pampering.

But — wait for it — what are we most excited about? The PET PARADE!  Yes, that means dress up your dog, cat, lizard, etc as your favorite cape-wearing crusader. It’s starts at 1:15 PM.
