Heather is editor-in-chief of (cool) progeny. When not scouting the best in everything kid and family, you'll probably find her running The Weisse Group or adventuring around town with her daughter (the Bug) and husband. Can be won over with a good glass of wine or something homemade. Addicted to Pinterest. Only pretends to know what she's doing with her SLR, even though she's got a fantastic lens on it. Thankful it does most of the work for her.

Heather, I'm pretty excited about these classes as well! However, I'm interested in hearing more about the registration requirement. Is it to determine if they will have enough attendees to run it or to encourage people to show up? Is there a number that each class is capped at? Will you be turned away if you did not register?

Hi Lynne! The best thing to do is email Beth at beth@waterfrontpartnership.org with your questions about registration. This is a new program for them, so they are still figuring things out! The teacher line-up they have is fantastic, however.

This sounds great! When do the classes start? Are they weekly and do you need to reserve each week? Thanks!

we are modern family

Who, us? We’re putting (cool) back in to the crazy, upside down world of modern parenting. All about raising fun, fashionable, active little thinkers with a strong cuppa coffee on the side.

Takes the Cake. You may know Mary Alice from her reality tv days or from her work at Charm City Cakes, but around this little slice of internet, we adore her for her wit. We love a mom with the two must-have senses for parenthood: common sense and a sense of humor.
