You all know that I’m a huge Wee Chic fan. What originally attracted to me to the store was the quality and design of the merchandise. Owner Bridget Stickline has a knack for bringing fab children’s clothing to Baltimore that’s both functional (great quality, amazing texture and built for kid tolerance) AND modern (you won’t find a Peter Pan collar in this store).

But what’s kept me at Wee Chic? The store’s commitment to local, the staff’s ability to not take themselves too seriously and their loyalty to their customers {In the spirit of full disclosure, might also be why Bridget and I have become such good friends…}.

Case in point: the Little Character’s Search. Each year, Wee Chic partners with Baltimore Style Magazine and Laura Black Photography to find Baltimore’s most adorable cuties to be the faces in their Fall LookBook and ad campaign. Right now, over 356 kids are in the running for 25 spots. Wee Chic is looking for characters ages 6 months to size 10. That means natural, silly and goofy grins. The real kiddos that make you smile and melt your heart — pancake syrup in their hair and all.

I know that all of you have characters at home! So grab their most adorable picture off your hard drive (no professional photos, please) and submit them! You have just 10 days left to enter.

Luckily for the Wee Chic staff, they don’t have to choose from all of the adorable faces. After submission period ends on April 15th, a panel of area judges will decide who will be the silly (and fabulous) faces of Wee Chic in 2012.
