The Fresh Beat Band Concert
the Fresh Beat Band, Nickelodeon’s popular preschool music group and stars of the hit TV series of the same name, comes to The Lyric Opera House for the first time ever. Kiki (Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer), Shout (Thomas Hobson), Marina (Tara Perry), and Twist (Jon Beavers) will perform The Fresh Beat Band hits from seasons one, two and three of the live-action music series that teaches preschoolers about music appreciation and how to express their feelings through movement, song and instrumental music. Concerts on Saturday at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Opening Weekend of the Baltimore Farmer’s Market
The Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar opens for its 35th season on Sunday, April 1, 2012. Produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts, the area’s largest producers-only market is located at Holliday & Saratoga streets under the Jones Falls Expressway. Meet old friends and make new ones at the weekly Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar. Visitors can greet their favorite farmers, grab breakfast from the multitude of food vendors cooking up delicious meals and shop for jewelry or decorative items for the home or for gifts.

2012 Paths of Cylburn Family 5K
Explore the glorious paths of Cylburn Arboretum during this 5k through the winding trails through the various gardens and woods. The run starts at the Volmmer Center, on asphalt-paved paths, then enters the woods and covers varied terrain before returning to the Mansion. Sunday at 8:00 AM.

Spring Bulb Show Children’s Activities
Children do art and crafts to celebrate the opening of the conservatory’s Sring Bulb Display – Flower Power. Children make bead or hemp friendship bracelets, read spring flower books, do color sheets, and make tissue paper bunnies. At Rawlings Conservatory at 1:30 PM on Sunday.
