Many fabulous things happening in and around Baltimore this weekend — especially in celebration of {heart} day. Here are our picks for family fun.

Milkshake Valentine Spectacular
Join the entire Milkshake band as they celebrate one of their favorite holidays with a Valentine’s Spectacular Concert. Along with Milkshake in concert, there’ll be chocolate kisses from Moo, a chance to buy great books for kids from Usbourne Books, face painting and other fun activities before the show. As an extra incentive to attend, a portion of the proceeds from books and ticket sales will go to Arts On Stage, a non-profit organization in Maryland presenting live, professional and educational theatre for students. Doors open at 9:30 AM on Saturday for a 10:30 AM concert start. Lisa Matthews from Milkshake gave us a sneak peek of the concert here.

Winter Festival of Wonders
The Winter Festival of Wonders is a three day celebration of Wonder, Magic and Play in Station North. The festival runs Friday through Sunday, with FREE family-friendly activities taking place between noon and 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Hooping demonstrations, juggling, magic and more. Too (cool). Many thanks to Evan (who writes Baltimore’s Magazine’s Learning to Crawl blog) for giving us the heads up about this event!
